About These Terms and Conditions

In these Terms and Conditions “we” and “us” mean The Luggage Connection Pty Ltd (The Luggage Place) ABN 966 188 653 93 of 2/142 Richmond Rd Marleston SA 5033, and “you” means you the customer.

These Terms and Conditions together with your Order constitute the entire Contract between us and you for the supply of Products. No other Terms and Conditions will apply. The Contract cannot be varied unless we agree to vary it in writing or by email.

Legal Capacity to Transact

If you are under the age eighteen (18) years you cannot place orders with the Luggage Place.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions you acknowledge that you are over the age of eighteen (18) years.


Payment Methods And Processing

The Luggage Place currently accepts PayPal.

Payment processing will not begin until we receive all the information we need.

Orders placed on a weekend or a public holiday will not begin payment processing until the next business day.

Business days are Tuesday through to Friday, excluding SA Public holidays.


Website Images and Product Description

The Luggage Place uses its best efforts to keep the information on the Website updated. However, it is not possible to guarantee the complete absence of errors on the Website. The information and other material published on this Website may include inaccuracies or typographical errors.

The weights, dimensions and volumes of the products are approximate only. We have made reasonable efforts to ensure that product information is accurate and to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products. However, we cannot guarantee that your screen’s display will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.

While we make efforts to ensure that items listed as cabin carry-on/hand luggage meet current airline restrictions, we cannot be held responsible if an airline applies other check-in standards or if airlines or airports change their restrictions.


The price of the product(s) you order is the price that is displayed on the Website at the time you confirm your order and will be confirmed on the e-mail order confirmation. All prices displayed are inclusive of GST.

The Luggage Place reserves the right to change prices for Products displayed at The Luggage Place at any time.

Supply Of Your Products

Subject to these Terms and Conditions, we will supply to you the Products indicated on your Order Confirmation.

When your Order items are ready for collection, we will email you to confirm your order.

Goods Out of Stock

We reserve the right to notify you that goods for which you placed orders have become unavailable for reasons beyond our control. You will receive a full refund in the event we cannot fulfill your order.

Defective Goods

The Australian Consumer Law provides certain guarantees to consumers when they purchase goods and these guarantees cannot be excluded, restricted or modified. The time limit of consumer guarantees varies depending on the price and quality of the goods and may extend beyond this warranty or any applicable warranty provided by the manufacturer of the goods. These guarantees include:

  • the goods will be of acceptable quality;
  • the goods will be fit for a particular purpose;
  • the goods will match their description; and
  • the goods will match the sample or demonstration model.

Items returned must be in 100% re-salable condition with tags – goods which have been used or in less than perfect condition will not be eligible for a Return


You will at all times indemnify, and keep indemnified, us and our directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any loss (including reasonable legal costs and expenses) or liability incurred or suffered by you or by us arising from any claim, demand, suit, action or proceeding by any person against you or us where such loss or liability arose out of, in connection with or in respect of your conduct or breach of this Agreement.

By placing your Order, you agree that we may store, process and use data collected from your Order Form for the purposes of processing your Order. 

Credit Card Fraud

Whilst The Luggage Place employs the latest in Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology software for its transactions with our customers, The Luggage Place will not be responsible for any damages, consequential losses (whether direct or indirect) suffered by a customer whose credit card is fraudulently used or is used in an unauthorised manner.


You shall not assign any rights and obligations under these Terms and Conditions whether in whole or in part without the prior written consent of the Luggage Place. Any unauthorized assignment shall be deemed null and void.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions and the remainder of the provisions in question shall not be affected thereby.

Under the Trade Practices Act 1974 (“Act”), where implied conditions and warranties cannot be excluded, any liability in The Luggage Place for breach of such conditions and warranties (other than a condition or warranty implied by section 69 of the Act) shall be limited, at the option The Luggage Place, to the replacement of the Product(s) or the re-supply of the same Product(s); the payment of the cost of replacing the Product(s) or of acquiring equivalent Product(s).

Neither our failure nor your failure to enforce any Term or Condition constitutes a waiver of such Term or Condition. Such failure shall in no way affect the right to later enforce such Term or Condition.

The Luggage Place reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions of sale at any time.

No, The Luggage Place employee or agent has the authority to vary any of the Terms and Conditions governing any sale.
